Hi All,
Can anyone tell me what Stanhope is like? I plan on going, but I was just curious as to what the venue and area is like. It's been a few months since I have seen NRPS and that is way too long. Thanks!

Troy

It's an old road house bar with a walk around porch, that is located on a corner street in an old New Jersey semi-outback town. The "stage" area is on level with the rest of the bar room floor. Low level electric volume is enough to blow everybody away. By the third song, Nelson has EVERYBODY and I do mean EVERYBODY dancing in the place. I'd say 60 to 80 people is full. Very intimate. Definitely a ((deep)) experience not to be missed. a good 3 hour show, if not a little more. How's that?

Stormin Norman,
That was a great review of the place. It sounds like a good time. Thanks a lot! Now we just have to wait until March 3rd.

yes a great place. the room is small and L shaped. as the show goes on it gets a little less crowded. and they have guinness if that's up your alley. can't wait to get back there! they also have a nice patio outback to hang out. see you there!

We didn't go to The Silo. We actually just stayed home for once on New Years. With the New Riders only playing a little of the night, we decided not to go. We got our tickets for Stanhope so we will defintiely be going. See you there.

I know what your talkin' about Troy. I find it impossible not to get a 3 hour hit of NRPS. Anything less is a tease to me, it's like getting a short timed lap dance! :crybaby:

Good Satch! I'll see you there. I have to get my room yet, but the tickets are bought. Two more weeks. I wish I was going to River Street, but Thursday night isn't a good night. I have seen them there three times though and the place is great. It is very intimate.
